From Workshop to World-Class Manufacturer

Chin Tai Oil Seals was founded in 1978 by Mr. Chen Wen-Liang in a modest workshop in Changhua's industrial district. Driven by a passion for precision engineering, Mr. Chen invested in the first rubber vulcanization press and began supplying TC oil seals to local machine tool factories.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the company expanded its product line to include hydraulic seals, custom molded parts, and specialty high-temperature seals. Our reputation for quality and reliability earned us contracts with major Japanese and European OEMs.

Today, under second-generation leadership, we operate a 12,000 m² modern facility with over 150 skilled employees, exporting to more than 30 countries. Our commitment to the original founding values — precision, integrity, and continuous improvement — remains unchanged.

1978

Company Founded

Mr. Chen Wen-Liang establishes a small oil seal workshop in Changhua with 8 employees.

1985

First Export Contract

Secured first export order to Japan; expanded to 30 employees and a larger production facility.

1995

ISO 9001 Certification

Achieved ISO 9001 quality management certification, opening doors to European OEM markets.

2005

New Factory Built

Moved into the current 12,000 m² purpose-built facility with modern CNC and testing equipment.

2018

40th Anniversary

Celebrated 40 years of manufacturing with over 500 global clients and a second-generation management team.

2024

Expanded Product Line

Launched new PTFE and FKM specialty seal lines, targeting high-temperature industrial applications.

Rubber Compound Manufacturing

In-house NBR, FKM, EPDM, ACM, and PTFE compound preparation for consistent material properties.

CNC Precision Mold Making

Our tooling department produces new molds in 4–6 weeks with tolerance control to ±0.005 mm.

Hydraulic Press Vulcanization

Automated compression and injection molding presses ensure uniform cure and dimensional accuracy.

Full Quality Testing Lab

In-house hardness, pressure, elongation, temperature, and chemical resistance testing per DIN/ISO standards.
